Business as usual
We would like to assure all grantees and partners that we are committed to business as usual, providing appropriate support throughout this period of heightened risk and uncertainty. Staff will be working from home during lockdown with no face to face meetings, however will be contactable via email, our website and on the phone. Once the levels change, and there is more clarity on the current situation, further information will be forwarded. There will be no noticeable impact on any of our operations.
What the ongoing impact of Covid-19 means for Granting
- BayTrust remains in a very strong financial position and wishes to advise that all future grant rounds remain open at budgeted funding levels with applications still being received and processed as per our normal guidelines.
- We will continue to honour all our multi-year funding obligations as well as honour any other existing commitments.
- Depending on the length of time that the BOP is in Alert level 4 or 3, and the need in the community, we may look to re-establish Covid rapid response funding. This is something that we will make more firm decisions on as more information comes to light and look to be able to share more information on this at our Annual Public meeting. In the meantime if you have any emergency covid related funding queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
Lastly, as CEO of BayTrust I know how challenging it is for everyone dealing with this uncertain time. We will do all we can to help support organisations over this period and as part of leadership commitment it’s great that I can confirm that all BayTrust staff are currently either vaccinated or in the process of getting vaccinated.
As always if you have any questions, please contact a BayTrust staff member or me if you wish to discuss.
Ngā mihi
