The new Whakahou Taketake Vital Update – Tauranga 2023 results are now available online at Tauranga.govt.nz/vitalupdate2023.

BayTrust, Acorn Foundation, TECT and Tauranga City Council partnered on this research project with the aim of better understanding the communities within Tauranga.

We heard from more than 6,000 residents (13+ years) in Tauranga and have collated the data in reports and dashboards, which contain invaluable information for anyone who wants to see Tauranga thrive. In addition, 1,100 children (5-12 years) shared their aspirations, wants and needs with us.
